M Machine-made Pashmina
The same word, differently made
Part of the same Pashmina line as Heritage, made a different way, for buyers who want the word on a machine-made cloth and want to know precisely what that does and does not mean.
It carries none of the three things that earn the unqualified word on Heritage: hand-spun yarn, a handloom weave, a Geographical Indication tag. We name it plainly rather than let a buyer assume otherwise.
Composition, fibre origin and full specification are being finalised with our production partner, and will be published here once confirmed.
We use the word pashmina without qualification only where all four are true: 100% Changthangi fibre, hand-spun, handwoven, and a Geographical Indication tag on the piece itself. This offering does not meet that rule, which is why we name it separately.
